Working and living conditions of migrant agricultural workers in Morocco: Local actors’ interactions and frames

This report aims to analyze the strategies and frames of key actors in the agricultural sector namely in two municipalities, Sidi Bibi and Khmiss Aït Amira, in the province of Chtouka Aït Baha, Souss-Massa region. It examines specifically the strategies and interactions of the various actors involved and how these interactions shape the working conditions of migrants in this locality and sector. The research is based on a qualitative approach that includes two focus groups with the actors involved in the agricultural sector in the province of Chtouka Ait Baha, documentary research to gather as much scientific, sociographic, and interpretive data, and in-depth semi-structured interviews with the stakeholders involved.
