Irregular migrant work in Morocco: Dynamics and governance constellations

This report analyzes the issue of undocumented migrant labor in Morocco, highlighting the various national policies that address, explicitly or implicitly, the situation of migrant workers. The analysis focuses particularly on two policies: migrant regularization campaigns and the National Immigration and Asylum Strategy (SNIA), as they represent a major turning point in the evolution of migration policies in Morocco. The report adopts a qualitative methodology, based on the analysis of official reports and documents, as well as a corpus of interviews conducted with stakeholders involved in managing the issue of undocumented migrant labor.
